Muthu Jayakumar

Muthu Jayakumar, PhD is the Canadian Real-World Evidence Lead at Amgen Canada, where he leads the national evidence generation strategy to support medical affairs, market access, and reimbursement decision-making across multiple therapeutic areas. He works closely with cross-functional teams to develop real-world evidence that addresses payer evidence needs, informs health technology assessments, and supports product lifecycle strategy. Prior to joining Amgen, Muthu was a Senior Consultant at IQVIA, where he led real-world evidence and health economics programs supporting pharmaceutical companies across Canada. He has over 15 years of experience in evidence generation, epidemiology, clinical research, and market access strategy.
