Ian MacDonald

Ian MacDonald is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in market access, pricing, contracting, health economics, and strategic management. He began his career at Pfizer Canada as a Student Intern focusing on pricing activities and market access. He then joined Merck Canada Inc. as a Specialist in Strategic Pricing, Contracts & Negotiations and was later promoted to Senior Specialist. Ian also served as Brand Manager for LOE Products and Diversified Brands, overseeing the P&L for multiple brands and winning the 2017 Director’s Award. 

In June 2021, he joined Organon Canada Inc. as Associate Director, Pricing & Contracts, and currently serves as Director, Value & Access, driving strategic initiatives and optimizing value realization for the company.
