Laurie leads business development for IQVIA Canada’s Real World Solutions (RWS) team.

Laurie has more than 27 years of multi-therapeutic pharmaceutical industry experience both in Canada and globally.

Laurie’s expertise includes leading launches for 6 products in Canada.  Stakeholder engagement has been paramount to her success enabling access to new medications.

Laurie also brings a keen understanding of the Commercial and Medical sectors in the Canadian pharmaceutical landscape throughout a product’s lifecycle from pre-launch to genericization, providing her with a unique set of strategic perspectives in developing solutions that provide maximum value.

Current Title: Director, Business Development, Real World Solutions

Real World Solutions Experience: Laurie is a Director of Business Development in the Real-World Solutions team at IQVIA Canada with over 27 years of experience in the industry both in Canada and globally.  Laurie leads the team engaging with our clients to help understand the business challenges they face and then construct the best strategic access or evidence generation solution IQVIA can provide.

Project expertise includes strategic brand commercial and medical launch planning, evidence generation planning and execution across a brands lifecycle, stakeholder engagement, advisory panels, and patient support program development

Experience in therapeutic areas includes neurology, cardiovascular disease, hematology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, men’s health, women’s health, oncology, chronic pain, metabolic diseases, radiology  and infectious disease.

Other Experience: Laurie conducted bench research at the University of Western Ontario in neurophysiology.  She managed a medical research department in a large pharmaceutical company for over 5 years.  She is a certified training generalist in adult learning principles and a member of the board for the Ontario Pharmaceutical Marketing Association
