A graduate of Dalhousie University, Stephanie Di Trapani joined Health Canada in 2005. She is the current Director of the Drug Shortages Division in the Regulatory Operations and Enforcement Branch (ROEB) a role that she has held since 2020. ROEB is responsible for delivering and conducting compliance and enforcement activities for a range of health products and the response to drug shortages. Prior to assuming her current role, Stephanie oversaw compliance and enforcement activities such as, recalls for health products including human and veterinary drugs and natural health products. Stephanie also worked at the Natural and Non-Prescription Health Products Directorate in the Health Products and Food Branch.
