Daria holds a Master’s and PhD in Epidemiology and post-doctoral fellowship in pharmacoeconomics. Since 2007, Dr. O’Reilly was a full-time Professor in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence and Impact, McMaster University where she continues to hold a part-time appointment. For over two decades, Daria has collaborated with government and industry to develop evidence using Health Technology Assessment methodologies to support reimbursement decision-making. Daria joined TELUS Health in September 2018 as Lead Health Economist. Her role includes, reviewing the economic evidence for new drugs submitted for formulary listing, ensuring results are relevant to private payers, and making recommendations for evidence-informed formulary listing decisions based on cost-effectiveness for carrier clients.
