Dennis Chan

As Principal Consultant of Pathway Strategies, Dennis helps companies develop and execute nationwide and regional strategies to achieve public and private reimbursement. With his bureaucratic and political party background, he is able to provide a complimentary and seamless suite of services, which include market access, government relations, stakeholder engagement, advocacy and public relations. His clients have included global pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, provincial governments, global consulting companies, insurance companies, technology companies and research-based universities.  As a former political party strategist, Dennis has also served as a political commentator and panelist on CBC.

Before consulting, Dennis built and led the British Columbia Ministry of Health’s team for negotiations and commercial policy relating to pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He also has a background in institutional investments and business, and is an attorney licensed in the State of New York. Dennis is also active within his community. He was appointed by the BC provincial government to serve on the Board of Commissioners for BC Housing, a large crown corporation that develops and manages housing assets for the B.C. government. He also served as Chairman of S.U.C.C.E.S.S., the largest social service agency in BC.
